A gap between my thighs

My acro partner pointed out one day

There’s a gap between my thighs

The base where her foot should lay

In order for her to fly

A convex gap  where flesh should kiss

Between my thighs when knees toes meet

Was it always there like some mole I miss

Or a recent occurrence from some weight loss gig

My man thinks me bow legged

Caused by bone loss when women age

To hear him say this makes me sigh

Girls starve to have gaps between thighs

But mine is just a sign of age

Not sexy but from a disease I dread

So the gap between my thighs, so desired

Remains unadmired
