Planning my Hong Kong Trip

We’ll be travelling to Hong Kong and Macau this Saturday for a short vacation. I’d been to Hong Kong once in 1989 for a sales meeting. I remembered that it was in October and a typhoon had been forcasted during my stay there. I also remembered having my first taste of hairy crabs. That’s the beauty of working – there is no shortage of good (and expensive) food.

I told Aaron that we would not be visiting Disneyland, or any other theme parks. It would strictly be to dine and shop, plus some photography trips for Mike. No problem, he said, mouth already watering.

My Aunt E, who had visited HK last year, helpfully forwarded to us her itinerary as cut and pasted below:

Mike came home with a print out of it and exclaimed to me, Have you seen E’s itinerary? Thank goodness I’m not your Uncle E. The whole trip is shopping everyday.

I frowned and replied, You mean thank goodness you married me, and I’m not my Aunt E!

Needless to say, this itinerary has been deleted.
